Become a MentorÂ
"They want to be fed by their own.Â
The same pain is the same pain"
Vincent Massey, Founder
The challenges presented to individuals returning to the community after serving prison sentences, especially those who have been incarcerated for extended periods of time, are enormous.
Because of our own incarceration, we as Mentors have the unique ability to connect, gain trust and friendship, and show love.

As a mentor, you'll have the opportunity to share your knowledge and experience with those who need it most.
-
Share your time
-
Share your experiences
-
Share your successes
What A Change emphasizes the importance of integrity, credibility, compassion and a willingness to assist in times of need, making it a truly fulfilling experience for all involved.

Give Hope to those coming after
We bring together the courts, prosecutors, and probation with other mentor groups like Men in the Gap, a group of ex-offenders in PG County mentoring through faith and love. They are modeling change after decades of incarceration and give hope to a new generation of returning citizens.
